Olivetti's new launch Olipad Tablet

Olivetti launched its new Olipad Tablet which was made available in the market on 7 March, 2011. As a sign of time, Olivetti actually known to manufacture typewriter, was on the verge of extinction in this technology obsessed world. But good strategy along with some espousing and enticing ideas finally seemed to help the company to regain its lost valour. Announced as Italy’s first tablet, Olivetti expects to sell around 1.5 million copies in 2011 strengthening its hold both in the consumer as well as business sectors.
Olivetti declared this tablet to be useful for both the consumer and the business sector. Basically this phone supports a 10 inch TFT-LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and facilitates full touch-screen. The tablet has an Android v2.2 (Froyo) platform as the operating system and is powered by the Dual Cortex A9 NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor with a speed of 1 GHz which is really good news for gamers. With such high graphics and game capabilities this device can easily win over the hearts of various customers. It also supports a 1.3 MP camera which has the capability to serve as a webcam. Regarding connectivity, this tablet can score a full with highly enhanced options of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. One extraordinary feature of this device is that it includes USB, HDMI, and SD card ports for interoperability with other devices. Moreover this device supports music, images, video content in full HD, eReading SW and other wide range of applications. In addition to this features, the OliPad is compatible with a wide variety of accessories that may include a touch mouse, capacitive pen, keyboard and even a docking station.
The most interesting feature regarding the device is the launch of the Application Warehouse which is described by the company as “a virtual storehouse of configurable and customizable software applications designed by Olivetti specifically for business and government.” This online warehouse is powered by solution developed software houses and is directly accessible to the Olivetti dealers. By this the dealers are able to build strong relations with their customers and provide faster actions to their problems and queries. It supports various solutions to cater with customer requirements which include an online help desk.
Olipad Tablet is a very efficient device as compared to their counterparts. It is here that you get the chance to prove yourself in front of the professionals. So if you are confident of your knowledge and presentability then there is no need to worry.
